tbs (Traffic Broadcasting System) is launching an all-new English language radio station this December for foreign residents and tourists in and around Seoul area. tbs e-FM 101.3 MHz is looking for creative and highly motivated individuals to fill various positions. If you’re interested in joining our team in building Seoul’s first and only all-English radio station, apply now!
I. Positions
1. English News Proof reading
Volunteers to proofread news transcript-x-xs for broadcast before going on-air. English majors a plus. Must be detail-oriented and highly motivated. Native English speakers and past media experience preferred.
2. Field Reporter
Field reporters will report on various events occurring in the country and provide sound clips for use in programs. Reporters may appear in-studio to report findings. Highly motivated individuals only.
3 Traffic & Weather Reporter
Traffic& Weather reporters will provide up-to-the-minute live telecasts on-air of current traffic conditions and weather.
Seeking energetic individuals with knowledge of Seoul’s streets a plus.
II. Qualifications:
- Individuals with English as their first language (Korean proficiency a plus)
- Experienced individuals preferred
- Must submit resume and a personal writing sample
